resin painting

Somewhat like stained glass windows this art form of puddling or pouring colored resin into separated areas when wet or layering to add and change colors. It produces a flat resin slab built up to about 1/2″ thick also using clear resin to seal the colors over the bounded areas. This becomes heavy and so the slab is mounted to the wall with stand-offs or french cleats. LED back lighting can be added to indirectly light the transparent painting.
