20″ x 25″ watercolor on paper. Landscape piece illustrates the rows in orchards of oranges ready for shipping back east before Christmas over the snow capped Sierra Mountains in the background. Framed painting is strong on perspective drawing the viewer into the scene.

This is a very special painting to me.  It is my recording of having a unique vision of art from a landscape scene.  The stylistic look is purposeful and captures the concept I meant to convey: lots of rows, lots of boxes, lots of oranges.  The flat terrain is contrasted by the mass of mountains.  The white road pulls the viewers eye through the orchards to the base of the mountains.  The cyan sky feels like a dry California sky in Winter.
