Description
This charming painting was done on site by me using very wet watercolor paint. My easel was set up in a horizontal position so the brushed-on pigment and water could sit and the colors could mingle in an abstract way somewhat controlled. I began with a penciled drawing to identify where loose watercolor paint should be placed. The board dried with the background placed, then I was able to add detail for shadows, lines, and foreground elements.
